About Core-Offroad
Founded by the trio of Troy Brown, James Egan and Jodi Egan, CORE OFF-ROAD is revolutionising the 4WD industry by developing custom canopies, camper trailers and 4WD equipment that help adventurers get more out of their equipment while exploring and enjoying the great outdoors.
The idea began in late 2018 by Core Contracting Services owners James (Jimmy) and Troy, along with their management team to pursue their passion for the 4WD and Camping industry.
The entire team share a love of the outdoors and camping lifestyle and spend every spare moment exploring all parts of Australia while pushing their vehicles and gear to the extreme.
The team have owned, tested (and broken) countless variations of camper trailers, roof top tents, canopies and caravans and have never been 100% satisfied with some of the finishing touches, strength and functionality of many of the products.
So, the research began….
Inspired to take the best bits of existing equipment and improve on them to make adventuring safer, easier and even more fun, the team began exploring avenues for developing and building their own designs.
Designs that would incorporate their favourite portions of equipment already on the market, along with vast array of new and innovative ideas.
OUR TECHNICAL EDGE
While researching many different products, the team discovered Kings Starboard. A product which is a HDPE Plastic (High Density polyethylene).
Research showed Kings Starboard’s high tensile strength along with its adaptability to suit the exact applications the team were looking for.
Hard, strong, flexible and tough, the team developed a patented method of welding the product to suit specific requirements.
Excitement reigned and designs began early 2019 for prototyping and exploring manufacturing processes. With an instant market demand, it was clear the concept was a winner and thus the idea of CORE OFF-ROAD was born.
The CORE OFF-ROAD team are highly driven individuals, who strive to not only achieve innovation to the 4WD industry, but also produce only the highest quality products which meet their stringent Quality Assurance Levels and practical testing in Australia’s harshest conditions.
While the Core Off-Road brand is young, it utilises the combined knowledge of its production, design and construction team to ensure that all ideas are fresh and innovative, while leaving no stone unturned in coming up with exciting new products for the industry.

About our history
While CORE OFF-ROAD is a relatively new company, the business began in 2008 with a successful contracting business
– Core Contracting Services.
Initially Core Contracting Services serviced the domestic electrical market but quickly evolved to successfully manage multi-million-dollar, high level industrial contracts Australia Wide. Core Contracting services has worked on numerous large-scale mining and petrochemical facilities, providing Electrical, Mechanical, Construction and Plumbing services on multi-million-dollar world class facilities.
Core Contracting Services have multiple ongoing maintenance contracts in North Queensland, proving the companies stability and ability to operate at the highest level of Safety, Innovation and Commitment to their clients.
